While running this morning the thought came to me that God must have a very good microscope. We got one for our children’s studies recently and Nadia showed me an ant (one of the small black ones) under the microscope. We were using the weakest magnification and yet we could easily count the hairs on its legs!
Using different settings I am sure I would be able to see the bacteria on the hair. Smaller and smaller one could go and maybe see molecules and atoms and electrons and … who knows what else is there?
Well I am sure God knows since He created the universe. And if I compare our teeny-weeny planet with the sun and then with the solar system, the galaxy and further with the vastness out there, isn’t it astounding that God notices a little runner somewhere alone on the road. And under his microscope he has every one of my hair counted.
Matthew 10 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.[b] 30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
So He does not only see me, but He is interested in me and He cares about me. Yes, and about you too…
