This is just a short update of what is happening and what we are planning.

Those who follow me on Strava would have noticed a total lack of activity. My last run was on the 25th of November when l limped to the finish line at the Great Run of Punjab. My legs were in bad shape, and I even thought I may have stress fractures in both my legs. The doctors could not confirm or deny it but ordered rest which I am still faithfully doing. Cats are a good example when it comes to taking rest, hence the image!

But the pain is gone, and I am at least mentally preparing for the Kasauli Half marathon for which I am ambassador and pacer (1:50) on the 16th of December.

I am also preparing, together with our fellowship, for carol singing which is one way for us to celebrate the joy of Christmas. And we have a reason to be happy since that Baby born about 2000 years ago gave us the way to be forgiven for our sins and united with God. Come and listen (and join) us at the J.W. Marriott in Chandigarh from 6 to 7 PM every night 21 to 25 December.

Time Trial is collaborating with Daudta Punjab and Patiala runners to present a Christmas run in Patiala on Christmas morning (25 December). This will be a timed 5k and 10k and a fun 2.5k. Wear red if you can and join us there. Check it out here.

I will be in South Africa between 8 and 15 January to help my daughter settle into her flat in Potchefstroom where she will start her studies next year.

On the 20th I am planning to run the Tata Mumbai marathon. Please support my effort there as I am raising funds for Purnata. They are doing fantastic work against human trafficking, not only rescuing girls but also preventing it from happening in the first place. Here is the link to my fundraiser.

We are planning regular 5k / 10k runs in 2019. With your support, we will be able to continue. January is already quite full, but we are thinking of doing one on Wednesday, 23 January in Chandigarh. Please let me know if you think this is a good idea.
