I am fit.
Just did a lake-end-and-back in a personal best of 32 minutes. (It is about 7.3k)
But I also experience other, different needs for fitness. With my clarinet playing I realized that I am not fit… My lip muscles become useless after 30 minutes. And then there is my right thumb that keeps the clarinet up. My lip- and thumb-fitness is a bit off.
I have to exercise my will to serve and listen and be there for my family. When I do it, I love it, but I need more practice to do it well without getting involved in my next personal quest.
And where is my endurance when it comes to praying? My mind wanders away after only a short time. So I am afraid where it counts most in life I have to declare:
I am not fit.
