This garden is my all-time favorite in Mohali. It is one of the biggest and most beautiful.
Nature park – Phase 8 (sector 62)
Location: Google maps link Google maps calls it the Valley Garden.
Description: There are many things that I like in this garden. Trees planted in rows, green lawns, benches, play areas, an outdoor gym. This is also a great place to do some small hill training.
Surface: It has a variety to choose from. There are a smallish inner dirt-track and another one that crosses it. There are some grassed areas which are great to run on. Following the Jeep-tracks is another option, or you can go all around the garden on (or next to) the cement walking path.
Track length: about 1k if you add the two dirt tracks together. All around the garden is about 1.3k.
Lighting: Yes
Washrooms: Yes and they are clean.
Parking: There are two gates on opposite sides of the garden and ample parking at both.
Beauty: Above average
Atmosphere: Quiet and peaceful. In one area of the garden, there are a lot of crows that make a din early morning. In another area, there are other birds – not sure which – that makes a slightly more pleasant noise at the same time.
