Together with the group that runs with me regularly, we have run in many gardens in Mohali and Chandigarh. For the benefit of other runners around here, I want to share a bit about our experiences, one garden at a time.
Kargil park sector 71, Mohali
Location: Google Maps link
Description: This is a narrow T-shaped garden.
It has many trees, benches, gazebos, and play-areas for kids.
Surface: Dirt track, but one arm of the T does not have it. You can run on the grass next to the cement path, though. The track is wide enough for people to run side by side. It is flat enough.
Track length: 1.5k (This is one of the longest tracks in Mohali)
Lighting: Yes.
Washrooms: Yes. I did not enter so I do not know if they are clean.
Parking: Yes, on the Southern point.
Beauty: Average
Atmosphere: Mostly peaceful. Some runners, many walkers. Where it is close to the road, the cars disturb this peace a bit.
