I wonder how many people made a New Year’s resolution to get fit in 2012. It is probably one of the most made, most broken New Year’s resolutions of all time. What helps for me is to have a tangible goal – a race to run or a PB to break. Goals should be SMART.
I am looking forward to running a recent PB for the half-marathon on 8 Jan. 1 hour 35 minutes. I do not think I will come close to my PB which I set 7 years ago (1 hour 24min) Then a little further into the future there is the Chandigarh marathon which I ran last year. And then there is the Comrades marathon which I want to run again in 2013. (Let’s see about that one.)
